| "I do not see evil, hear no evil," a perfect title for a hilarious script that was brilliantly played by Gene Wilder (Dave) and Richard Pryer (Wally). The story of two "handicapped" (as Dave comments at the end of the film, "I am not disabled, I have to) those that bind to the eyes. The hilarious duo get caught in a crime not committed and do everything in their power to rid themselves of the accusation. I must say I liked this DVD movie See No Evil, Hear No Evil a lot. I remember when he came to see for the first time in 1989 and thinking, "wow ... what a fun movie." Being only 11 at the time, do not really understand the hilarity of all the jokes that were in it. The reason I watch them again now ... 13 years later due to a Kevin Spacey (who plays Kirgo, the thief). I am in the process of gathering all your movies ... and this only happens to be one in a list. I am glad it is. Find the script to be wonderful, brilliant performance and time spent to see that once defined the fun. Great movie! |
| I enjoyed this effort. As an avid fan of Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder, I like his whole team of companies. And while I find this DVD movie See No Evil, Hear No Evil very entertaining, but also lack some of the Magick of the first. Wilder plays a deaf businessman, and Pryor is an unemployed person who is blind to Wilder for a job. From the beginning, this DivX film See No Evil, Hear No Evil is hilariously clever. Enjoy what I did, although it was a very bitter, so bad to see Pryor and Wilder, in so much pain. It showed through their performances. Unfortunately, the unforgiving public will not understand, and took his talent was lacking, and there were no other problems. I can only hope this will not be their last collaboration thespian.
