Toula Portokalos is 30, Greek, and works in her family's restaurant, Dancing Zorba's, in Chicago. All her father Gus wants is for her to get married to a nice Greek boy. But Toula is looking for more in life. Her mother convinces Gus to let her take some computer classes at college (making him think it's his idea). With those classes under her belt, she then takes over her aunt's travel agency (again making her father think it's his idea). She meets Ian Miller, a high school English teacher, WASP, and dreamboat she had made a fool of herself over at the restaurant; they date secretly for a while before her family finds out. Her father is livid over her dating a non-Greek. He has to learn to accept Ian; Ian has to learn to accept Toula's huge family, and Toula has to learn to accept herself.

I live in Izmir in Turkey (on the west coast of the Aegean) and Greece is only 45 minutes by boat, and I have been in Greece for several times. The typical Greek sample will visit Greece and see all the people in the My Big Fat Greek Wedding Romance (of course, the movie: My Big Fat Greek Wedding has a bit of exaggeration for the sake of fun :))-!!!). Turks and Greeks are perhaps the behavior of nations closer and tradition, but the languages and religions are different. Not only in the U.S. but throughout the world the typical behavior of the diaspora can be seen. I enjoyed the film: My Big Fat Greek Wedding and immediately bought the DVD and watched for many times. The My Big Fat Greek Wedding movie can also be seen in channels in Turkey. :))

The trailers for this film: My Big Fat Greek Wedding looks like a fun comedy hilarious ... but what they did is put all the best bits of the trailer and spread a couple of minutes of laughter throughout the DivX film My Big Fat Greek Wedding takes a little thin. Everything revolves around a large Greek family and their lifestyles and beliefs that are a bit extravagant, but do not have enough mileage to carry an entire film. His shot and acted well, but after a laughter to wait a long time to come to another ... bored. 4-10.

I resisted because they see it does not seem to do anything, but I was pleasantly surprised! I liked all the actors in this movie: My Big Fat Greek Wedding in particular Nia Vardalos and John Corbett. Suberb acting! What girl can not be identified by the akwardness of Toula at the beginning of the film? Great vessels, the frumpy hair. I loved how he became much more confident after receiving a "makeup", but never used anything too revealing. I also liked how John wait so long for nothing more than a kiss! One of my favorite scenes is when Toula is preparing for the wedding and all the women in her family are chasing after harvest and hair off your chin. My favorite line is when you tell your Aunt Toula that John is a vegetarian and not eat me, and his aunt said "No problem, I lamb" Excellent movie! I highly recommend it!

This My Big Fat Greek Wedding film is paper thin, preposterous feel-good formula. It contains nothing that has not happened before, just with a Greek bias instead of another sub-picturesque stereotypical American minority. While not without merit (there are a handful of really funny moments), remains a mystery why this movie: My Big Fat Greek Wedding was made at all ... though perhaps not why people went to see it. You can not all have been leased Kissed Never again, or something similar instead?

I never caught this My Big Fat Greek Wedding Romance film in theaters and just saw that recently on HBO. All I can ask is what is the great thing about My Big Fat Greek wedding anyway? The main character is very annoying, to say nothing of the future and half of his family even more annoying. Not a terrible film, but far from the hype that make you think. This captures the cable or when it comes to network TV, but do not actually pay money to see this or feel cheated. They should rename this DivX Movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding My Big Fat Family annoying place.

Speaking of fashion. All we heard during the last year has to do this movie. In Cincinnati, the My Big Fat Greek Wedding film was never released close to where I am, so I had to wait for video. What a disappointment. The DivX film My Big Fat Greek Wedding moved way too fast for me. Van de 10 minutes later they are married. The jokes were so-so, nothing really impressed me. I think the critics try to drum up a couple of small films a year to try to justify their existence. 6 / 10
