| The best action packed suspense-thriller drama I've ever seen. Throughout my life I've seen about twelve thousand films, so it really is saying something (my father retired pirate video =). I can not believe I never saw this Breakdown film today. I wish I had seen in the theater. Jeff and Amy Taylor are moving from the east coast to west coast and with a breakdown about sixty miles outside of town that progress forgot. A friendly truck driver offered to help Amy and gives a ride to the city, while Jeff stays behind to see the SUV. He realizes that the problem with the engine of his car, a minor who can fix it, and leaves to join his wife. When he arrives at the restaurant where Amy is supposed to be to call a tow truck, she is not there. Where is Amy? Where is the truck driver who helped her? Why are people shooting at Jeff? BUZZ WORDS I have heard applied to other films, they tend to disappoint, BUT THIS ONE IS NECESSARY FOR: Breakdown is an edge of your seat, adrenaline-pumping of the heart and stop at the face exciting cinematic journey that will leave you breathless and wanting more pulse pounding, jaw drop emotion, and then comes with an end that will leave you in the teetering edge of eternity chewing on nails of another person. If you only have the opportunity to see an action DivX Movie Breakdown in your life, this has to be IT! |
| I spent Christmas 2004 in Hungary, and breakdown seen on television the other night. Yes, it was dubbed in Hungarian, but I had already seen the Breakdown Short film at the cinema a few years ago. And you know what? I was still excited to see where and in Hungarian as I saw at the cinema. Why? Because it tells its story mostly in pictures, for me this is the real power of a good film, with images to tell the tale. Kurt Russell is outstanding as the search for her kidnapped husband bewildered wife, and while it reminded me of the excellent Dutch DVD film Breakdown The Vanishing (the original 1988 version is not the terrible remake of Hollywood), and sometimes grief of Spielberg, who still has a real freshness about it, with a large photograph and address. Well worth watching, Russell possibly better performance. 9 / 10 |
| As far fetched as it seems to me the plot of this movie: Breakdown to be, what I have in my personal library and never stop being entertained by it.A good work being done to keep the audience on the edge of their seats as our hero, Kurt Russell battles to save his wife from the clutches of a gang of small time extortionists.The DVD movie Breakdown has flaws, but as I have said many times, no movie: Breakdown has to be absolutely perfect for entertaining, at least not for me. There are many elements of the movie: Breakdown that I remember from the Spielberg classic Duel (desert, truck driver, dining, etc), so much so I think it's obvious that he was in the back of the minds of writers as he wrote this story, which could play a role in why I like it.I do not call this DivX Movie Breakdown a favorite, but I like it despite its imperfections. |
| Kurt Russell, finally returned to the top of acting (for a while anyway) of an unfortunate fall in the race star in this intricate design, exceptionally well acted, and uber-suspenseful thriller that surprisingly, ends up shocking the hearing anything that entertains them! Russell turns in a great performance here as an anxious white-collar business man in a desperate search for his missing wife (played by Kathleen Quinlan), who disappeared shortly after being given a lift to the city for the kindness a truck driver when his vehicle broke down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Extraordinary character actor JT Walsh, who died suddenly of a massive heart attack the following year is also impressive-the game and facing two camionero villain behind the disappearance of women, as well as other goings on in the small shaded Russell maintains that the desert city of step. Top-notch direction and choreography and action sequences, he adds fuel to the fire which was not only one of the best films of 1997, but a real shot in the second brass ring for the aging actor Kurt Russell. | Breakdown is an intense journey. If you like the action thriller with a realistic plot, then this is your movie. Kurt Russell is excellent as a man who the woman is kidnapped by some truck drivers and during the rescue. Seeing a story like this place, you have to ask "what would I do in this situation?" Russell seems to be the character of an ordinary man and nice takes you through a common scenario that a man can do when faced with a dilemma. Russell is mistaken, but that is unrealistic, given the situation you're in His love for his wife leads him to his back and that looks like a guy who can find out how. JT Walsh is also amazing in this film. It is very realistic as bad as his henchman, played by Gainey and Noseworthy. If you have not seen this movie, it's worth a look. Rating 9 of 10 stars. |

However, the great acting of Kurt Russell combined with the excitement of not failing to make this DVD movie Breakdown enjoyable. From start to finish, the DVD movie Breakdown is filled with many twists and turns. First his wife is missing. Then the kidnappers ask him to give them a large sum of money to get back his wife ..... etc. At the time of the Breakdown Short is going to be overwhelmed by the twists and turns. For a Breakdown movie of 1997, when the technology was still popular for CGI, this is a great thriller. |
| Most people I talked to enjoyed Distribution agreement that are usually hooked immediately, only after the opening credits. This DVD movie Breakdown warning signs at the time it starts up and prefiguring reality becomes really crazy for the character of Kurt Russell. Breakdown takes place in one of the most deadly and empty environments known to man, the desert. Little or no cell phone reception, an incredibly small police force, and a ring of criminals just to get a psychotic nightmare situation. This DVD film Breakdown feels like a nightmare for the event until the last second and asked the fate of these characters. A real blast, I wish IMDb stopped 10 5 's as this is a solid 7.5 / 10 |
