| I went to see this DivX Movie Panic Room because I was impressed by the former director of the films submitted (not going to name them, I think everyone knows), but it is a great disappointment. Jodie Foster was trying to make the film, but the work (and others), but the script was lame. Nice concept, but no eye for detail. For example the scene when he learned that the mobile phone does not work in room.Fair enough, that could happen in real life, but at the time he left the room to get the stuff I needed to help his daughter not use his cellphone! Make a call, the police arrive, everyone is safe. Maybe I'm just whining a lot, but there are more scences so just irritated me. The only reason I gave 4 / 10 is due to the great camera work. It looked really impressive the way the camera just slide through the walls and ceilings. |
| I often wonder what writers have in their minds when writing a screenplay. Obviously the money and dollar signs - however the bad news is that Hollywood is the purchase of bad scripts and make movies. The plot is absolutely incredible and it makes no sense, ie: a woman and her daughter (who looks and behaves like your son in the film) is the purchase of a mansion with 30 rooms - like - as is a trip to Disneyland. His ex (shot by one of the thieves) just sits in his chair like a rag doll - the woman does not mind helping him - not even to call an ambulance. When one of the robbers is about to finish off towards the end of the Panic Room Drama - from your child (whatever that is) is "on fire" and screaming like crazy - instead of helping. This is the only DivX Movie Panic Room in which the expressed desire of the two players who died instantly from the bad guys - just to do with it. |
| It is usually the DivX Movie Panic Room that had the potential to be good to make the worst movies. Panic Room is just a movie. David Finchner, with the exception of his first DVD movie Panic Room Alien 3, has so far been exemplary films. They are meant to be as suspenseful and thought as well. Panic Room no. While Finchner has been known for his original photo here, with the exception of the creation of the vaccine Alten's apartment, a lot of it is quite distracting and superfulous. The other big problem here is that David Koepp's script makes two of the three robbers very kind and sympathetic. Worst of all, the resolution, very incomplete and illogical. Many of the ingredients for a good movie, if you are not great here, someone left in the oven too long. |
| You know, I really liked this Panic Room Drama movie until the end ... *** SPOILERS !!!*** I'll try to write this so that it does not reveal too much, but my big problem with the DivX film Panic Room is that they have finished with you-know-who is escaping with the money. I mean he did the right thing throughout the movie, and I was sure that the movie: Panic Room would end with the police to return to the house. Jodie Foster would be on it and say it is a neighbor and she had nothing to do with the robbery, let escape with the money. I mean ... he saved the life! So, in the end, he does the right thing and gets screwed by it. I hated this. Yes ... perhaps is more "realistic", but does not always go to the cinema to see the realism. Killian |
