| The plot moves at a reasonable rate of age of a large set piece to another and obviously the Conan the Destroyer movie had a decent budget. In fact, I would say this is good sword and sorcery bubblegum fodder except for some small but annoying differences. On the one hand, the comedy is fantastic companion Malak irritating, poorly acted, and takes all the tension, so any scene of interest. Obviously going to a more "family" appeal of this film, but this was clearly a decision made long ago by the process of filming. The most obvious, this house visits during the fight scenes with some very rough cut, as some of the more gruesome bits have been removed. Conan and the second encounter with the camel that suffers from too! That apart from the cast take their roles with aplomb, Grace Jones, in particular, really through his enthusiasm for nature and love of combat. One of the best hack and slash movies out there. |
| This must have been filmed very quickly after the first film. Grace Jones and Arnold have almost nothing to say, the lines appear to have been passed to those who could speak more clearly. The movie: Conan the Destroyer recycles music from the original (the material used for the worship of the serpent that is reused in the sacrifice scene) and a large number of queens castle looks a lot like things Krull. The Conan the Destroyer Adventure is basically going from a very thin plot to another to fight a thin plot device to another fight and so on. I still do not understand why Conan 3 was not soon after the number 2, was issued shortly after Terminator for this? |
| SPOILERS BELOW-God-what a disappointment. First I must say i LOVED Conan the Barbarian, probably my 2nd favorite DVD film Conan the Destroyer of all time. It is well written and well directed. The characters were compelling. They were dirty and unkempt. They looked scary ... and best of all, can act! Unfortunately this in mind none of these elements. His eighty pure cheese. They negotiated with the realistic, messy, dark oiled muscles look, clean looking b DivX Movie Conan the Destroyer costumes, feathers and hair. The act is the essence of wood. While the thief in the first Conan the Destroyer Adventure was something dreadful, his counterpart in this ridiculous is a coward who does not fit all (and what is the New Yawkish accent?). The first was established in a believably asianesque / Mongolian establishment. This is apparently fixed in a kind of realm of fantasy (where are the elves?). And I have to say (SPOILER) ice castle was ridiculous, and the wizard of Conan battles in the hall of mirrors seems that bought his mask at the mall during days off. Grace Jones cast in this DivX Movie Conan the Destroyer does not make it any better, and Wilt Chamberlin as a character makes as much sense as Shaq cast Lord of the Rings. The God / Beast andalusia final battle is less good, but too little too late. This movie: Conan the Destroyer is only fully diluted hollywoodized and sterilized. Fans of the original, or anyone for that matter, avoid this rubbish unless you have your own do-it-yourself Mystery Science Theater episode at home. It really is too bad: ( |
