The above summaries do a great job of describing the dynamics of the love triangle that develops between the two pilots that fall in love with the same nurse. The movie also does a credible job of displaying the war from the American side with FDR and our side. It also shows the strategy of Japan as they plan for and execute all facets of the attack on Pearl Harbor. While all details may not be historically correct, I believe that they do the job well - all things considered. Historic events that were altered were probably done so in an attempt to also make this movie the entertaining epic that it is.

Horrible Pearl Harbor film that has many flaws, just not worth my time to list them all. Anyway read the other comments, and give a good account of themselves. The Battle of Britain scenes had me shouting at the screen. Even if you leave out is the wrong year! It was an insult, not least of all the American volunteers who served in the war with Britain and were not part of the U.S. military at that time, Germany does not consider an enemy. Why an event as significant as Pearl Harbor, wanted or needed and plausible repeatedly inaccurate history is beyond me. It was and is an important story to tell - the right way. Combine a sequence of commands that would cringe a high school history teacher, with an incredible love story and some of the worst acting I've seen in a while and you have a recipe for a DivX Movie Pearl Harbor that should never have come to the screen. Watch twenty minutes of the raid. Discount inaccuracies, and then turn off the DVD player. The rest is pure nonsense.

Pearl Harbor, when he was in the movie: Pearl Harbor which was "the film: Pearl Harbor that had to do unfortenatly never do to see the DivX film Pearl Harbor at the cinema to me and a friend started to rent the DVD film Pearl Harbor in our video store because wanted to see this big blockbuster, but after all this was a big disappointment at the performance was good and so is the action scenes (you have to wait long for something), but the rest was not all that. The love story in the Pearl Harbor War film is rather boring and drag around the characters of the DivX Movie Pearl Harbor resembles stripfigures is difficult to identify with someone and the running time is 176 minutes too long nog is a Pearl Harbor War movie that seems to last long forever. But really the worst thing about this WARDRAMA was the failure to really grab you no matter what happins even though it is tragic, I have seen much better WARDRAMA eg "SCHINDLERS LIST", "Apocalypse Now" or "Saving Private Ryan "These are FIMS to do almost in a trance, but Pearl Harbor is a DVD film Pearl Harbor that you do with your VCR Remotecontrol (fastforward).

In my opinion, the creators of this DivX Movie Pearl Harbor have no right to call on Pearl Harbor. It is a story of romance and simply put it into the Pearl Harbor hearings in. The only other movie: Pearl Harbor that has bothered me so much is Titanic, which used exactly the same tactics. Not worth seeing the Pearl Harbor War is like for the first 2 hours, only a waste of time. It is time that the Pearl Harbor movie makers be held responsible and can not do garbage like this in the back of a true story.
