Frank Horrigan is a secret service agent who keeps thinking back to November 22, 1963, when, as a hand-picked agent by President Kennedy, he became one of the few agents to have lost a President to an assassin when Kennedy died. Now, former CIA assassin Mitch Leary is stalking the current President, who is running for re-election. Mitch has spent long hours studying Horrigan, and he taunts Horrigan, telling him of his plans to kill the President. Leary plans to kill the president because Leary feels betrayed by the government — Leary was removed from the CIA, and the CIA is now trying to have him killed. After talking to Leary, Horrigan makes sure he is assigned to presidential protection duty, working with fellow secret service agent Lilly Raines. Horrigan has no intention of failing his President this time around, and he's more than willing to take a bullet. White House Chief of Staff Harry Sargent refuses to alter the President's itinerary, while Horrigan's boss, Secret Service Director Sam Campagna, is supportive of Horrigan. As the election gets closer, Horrigan begins to doubt his own abilities, especially when Horrigan's colleague Al D'Andrea is killed by Leary. But Horrigan may be the only one who can stop Leary.

In the firing line, in my opinion, is an excellent, suspense, and the edge of your seat action / drama / thriller! I thought that Agent Horrigan (Clint Eastwood) and the Agent Raines (Rene Russo) looked good in the clothes worn in the presidential dinner. As for Leary (John Malkovich), who was a sick man who loved to toy with Frank by phone. He looked good in a tuxedo worn near the end of the film, however. One thing that surprised me was the growing attraction between agent and agent Horrigan Raines. Before wrapping, I would say that the entire cast and crew has done an excellent job, I loved the stage, and could not get enough of it. Now, in conclusion, all Clint Eastwood fans who have not seen this excellent, suspenseful, and edge of your seat action / drama / thriller, I highly recommend.

Just a fact, well-written and wonderfully acted film. Eastwood is a classic as Secret Service agent Frank Horrigan Grizzle and Rene Russo partner has its own (and love interest) Lilly Raines. But the DivX film In the Line of Fire greatness rests on the shoulders of John Malkovich as "Stand." That captures character of this anger and hatred, and their humanity curiously. Personally I think this was his best performance and should have received a Oscar for it (but I love Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive, and that same year). Overall a great film: In the Line of Fire to see who wants to look into the mind of a murderer and on the edge of your seat throughout the journey. Enjoy!

"In the Line of Fire" is a thriller made by experts who have a fantastic climax. The In the Line of Fire movie begins on hold the construction of half hours in the DivX Movie In the Line of Fire and not leave until the final scene. Clint Eastwood does an outstanding job as well as John Malkovich as the villain, the rest of the cast turns in good results. Director Wolfgang Peterson knows how to create suspense and it does very well, he also another suspense thriller from first-class Air Force One. "

I've seen plenty of action thriller in my life and this is clearly one of the best! There are very few films that even watching it several times and this is one of them. Everything in this In the Line of Fire film is just right: as the great actor Clint principal, Rene Russo as its not stupid female (this is a very rare combination - sad but true!). Of course, John Malkowich deserves praise for its excellent villain but do not overlook initial Eastwood `s friend, played by Dylan McDermott, which I believe fits the role perfectly.The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic - but unfortunately never put into released on a soundtrack CD of original (shame on the producers). The story makes sense and there is no loss of rhythm, the audience is kept in constant excitement of the outcome of the duel between Eastwood and Malkowich. I give this one 10 stars!
