| The film: Broken Arrow has excellent dialogue, special effects and scenes that are a must see. It's a good Broken Arrow movie to watch, and John Travolta steals the show. Samantha Mathis plays a very small. Christian Slater is good as always. Other players have done on average. |
| John Woo, after his many efforts of Hong Kong, came to America, and Hard Target (1993), due to interference and poor study takes the direction of Jean Claude Van Damme, was not as good as could have been. Woo has a bad reputation because of its conflict with the MPAA and Universal, and it took a while to get one off of this land. Woo had never worked with special effects, so it was treading into new territory. Fortunately, won two major potential, Christian Slater (Windtalkers in soon), and John Travolta (Face / Off). Take their direction, and each gives a good performance. In the traditional villain's henchman, I like to call Indestructible Villain Sidekick, Howie Long gives a good yield, and die a good death. I have never seen this Broken Arrow Adventure film a lot, until you see that tonight, and I realized this is probably the most action-packed Broken Arrow film in a long time. It takes only about 6 minutes to go, and then boom! boom! boom! Action sequence after another, while it enters the box. This Broken Arrow movie has plently of shootouts, explosions, and a great innovative twists (kicking the rear of the blade of a helicopter to remove a weapon from the hands) to make a good action movie. John Woo to the cinema, the great moments (the dollar bill and 20 more) are what makes this a great action movie. Another thing that makes this DivX film Broken Arrow great is that Woo was able to get the face / off, its best output of Hollywood, the green. I am looking forward to Windtalkers and love all of Woo's films. 9 out 10. |
| Woo This was the second in America after the Broken Arrow Adventure was hard to target and had to be their best. It's my favorite star actor Christian Slater and I just want to say that he began the life of s ** John Travolta at the end of the film. He was 11 years when I first saw this film, and has been my favorite from the action thriller. I recommend this DVD film Broken Arrow to all fans of John Woo. |
| John Woo continuing effort to translate its success on the outside of the Hollywood gold is take more of Van Damme stars in the resurrection and Christian Slater star Travolta. Slater and Travolta test pilots perform a new pump, if one decides to steal the missiles on board the other to start a personal fight to stop it. How hard this is a Broken Arrow Adventure film strong enough action, but what really could have been made by any person, the style of Woo really only comes through a few scenes (the bird view of the opening boxing match, Double handed gun play). This is a shame the action scenes, because only occasionally better than average. The argument is weak and relies heavily on matching and luck to keep things moving. This is quite insulting to an audience, as it only shows that the writers could not fix the place as a viable story and decided to seek the past. Travolta overplays the villain, but perhaps Overd ticks and a little too crazy to be credible. Slater clearly wants to be like Keanu was in Speed, but not convincing as an action hero, Mathis is cute, but that is not good - that almost no one entity and does not really have much chemistry with Slater. Once again a solid action DVD movie Broken Arrow that is good for a Saturday night, but with the stars, the budget and a director of this caliber can not help but feel this was a missed opportunity. |
