| The fact that this is the first Donnie Darko Mystery movie directors is unbelievable to me. The scenes dripping with style, however, that style does not seem distracting. Neither is self congratulatory or wolverines. The images with the help of a real emotional and hard to find faults in scoring the 80 items that pop is on its way some of the most impressive scenes. The story is very inspiring. It is the kind that lets you think of the possibilities raised by the characters. There is nothing condescending about this film. Answers arent just delivered, not the viewer is left to draw many conclusions place. The acting is also first class. If i hadnt known beforehand that Patrick Swayze was in this Donnie Darko film touched me. His character is funny and interesting at the same time. A great cameo for him. Drew Barrymore is to forget, however, that in no way detracts from the film. Of course, the star is Jake Gyllenhaal. Nothing can be said properly to praise his performance. The rest of the actors chosen fit their roles perfectly. All these things combine to create an amazing movie. One can only hope that viewers will give this little gem a shot and support a true miracle. This is the only Donnie Darko Mystery that got a 10/10 on IMDB. |
| This is, undoubtedly, the more layers (and therefore structurally complex) superhero DVD film Donnie Darko I've ever seen. Each time you pop this in the DVD player to find out something new about the film. I feel like I could see that an infinite number of times and learn something new about the Donnie Darko Mystery movie - which is really profound. As my title suggests, this is actually a superhero movie. Donnie has a mission - to stop the destruction of the universe by preventing a wormhole near the opening of their city. It's that simple. At first glance, however, this seems a strange Donnie Darko movie about teenage angst, with a touch of science fiction thrown in. It is much more than that. Look closely and you'll see one of the coolest, though more unlikely superheroes ever. I love this movie. |
| I read the comments "hate" before I saw Donnie Darko and I disagree. This is a great science fiction movie: Donnie Darko because it has enough plot twists to keep the audience engaged at all times. Furthermore, it was filmed in my adopted home - Virginia. Drew Barrymore, who put up major funds for this work plays an adult and does very well. Patrick Swayze is great as the smarmy motivational speaker to pump sunshine up the ass for everyone, but harbors a dirty secret. Gyllenhall and Harvey as his invisible rabbit friend (and possibly alter ego) is cursed with the syndrome of Cassandra, but the right on this crazy world criminal, and often is the only brand like crazy. Andalusia undertakes final time travel and succumbs to an inevitable death, which may seem like the cowardly way out, but the same can be said of Jesus Christ. God is referred to many times without hammering on the subject throughout the world by the throat. Donnie dies, but only to prevent the girl from her constant pain of knowing him. The plot is not as confusing as you might think if you pay attention. There is a line of dialogue missing, nor is there a burst of images or scenes that distract died of continuity. Even with a spoiler from the DVD film Donnie Darko knowing this outcome is a more stimulating experience. |
