| the cast did a fantastic job with what they say is a pretty average story ID. slightly funny in places, a pathetic ending and, in general, apparently one way, but strangely fun to walk by an intelligent gore-fest. the descent? There are too many inconsistencies in style ... began with a great creation scoring quickly relaxed visual thriller ... but then lost the final that "charm" and had a fairly normal score mounting ... may have to change the mind 1 / 2 by ... I do not think the hype of this being anywhere near and as Shaun of the Dead ... i did enjoy though. |
| I saw the DivX film Severance yesterday. According to the booklet is a fun horror film. Horror and fun: Always a good mix, I thought. The first 30-45 minutes were rather funny, fun, but nothing remarkable. The idea with the company and the output was a potential murderer. But as soon as the first person dies in the DivX Movie Severance becomes a boring "we have seen hundreds of times before" horror-movie. Not more clever, no jokes about. And it is far from what I call exciting or frightening. This film: Severance wants to be a comedy and a horror movie, but not both (the last 30 minutes were difficult to see are so distant and stupid ...) You better have a look at Shaun's death |
| Only a brief comment on this Severance film ..... I saw today and it's great! Lots of fun and a great mix of humor and horror ... My colleagues and I were in attacks by jumping and laughing in places than in others, it is not often that such films. I have not had this much fun at the movies in years! I did not even get a numb bum, who in my neighborhood DVD film Severance happens quite frequently! My friend and I left the DVD film Severance was chatting about what was good for at least 45 minutes .... and then occasionally reminds us of another good line or funny / fear now! | I recently saw this DivX film Severance premiere in Manchester as part of the Festival of heaven and I must say, I was impressed. I was waiting all, after reading the comments and other information on IMDb before I went. However, they do this DVD movie Severance justice. He was witty, intelligent, well written, but this balance is achieved perfection with elements of horror. The idea behind the story is apparently unique in the film, and therefore it is interesting and keeps the audience gripped. The act of a particularly high standard, Andy Nyman. I would say that the role of Danny Dyer was well played, etc, etc, but after I met him (and there was also a Q & A session) and was rather uncomfortable, not like him (I think Moff Human Trafficking. .. which is not method acting). As for management, is highly commendable, in fact, director Chris Smith, held a Q & A after the Severance movie and he definitely knew what he was talking like a big fan of horror / geek, which was very refreshing to see, especially since none of his other films have approached the genre with ease. The DVD movie Severance is reminiscent of Calvaire (proof) and can be seen clearly in the east - (Calvaire did say that was one of his favorite movies when he was interrogated about the similarities). In general the DVD movie Severance is definitely worth the hard earned £ 6. A wonderful example of good contemporary British cinema, which is hard to find these days. However, I can not help but wonder whether or not it's all an allegory to British rave culture ...?!?! |
| I must admit, when I first saw this trailer I am pumped to see the film. Finally after all the Severance Comedy film to rent, man, I have been disappointed. Perhaps the hype was all he had placed in him? Or maybe it was just completely awful. Yes, the latter. Definitely. To begin with, the performance is horrible. In the first minutes or so, you will be presented to the bus driver. Worst actor ever. Their ability to act stellar sets the tone. Oh yes, and do not forget to mention that the story is very weak and the characters seem to go their own non-essential discoveries in the entire film. There is almost no explanation. Go ahead and read the list of characters from the Severance Comedy film and tell yourself you're seeing jazz "The murderer of flamethrowers and Head-Squish Killer." If you want two thumbs up, then you have it. What has two thumbs and hated this movie? Me. |
