| I got it on tape, however, whenever I see is that it shows once again I get a little happier! Granted it is not for everyone - men do not like, people who lack a bit of reality in his films do not like either. And both my mother and I think I am a little nuts (though they do like the house - not just the magic of Mumbo Jumbo - and find the villain too dark and disturbing. (Is not that what a villain should be ?) But for me, is charming, very charming. Obviously, the cast of women who had a blast, and it makes me wish I had a house full of female relatives of midnight margaritas. There is a sense of strength of women and the unity of the family, told through a very unusual vehicle. A treasure favorite! Very helpful. |
| Finally ..... Through this autumn mediocrity of the film, comes a new, fun and deliciously wicked acclaimed Practical Magic Romance actor and director Griffin Dunne. I must first note that I have not read the book ... and also that I am male (to draw attention to this fact since most of my male friends do not be caught dead in an attack by men, chicken, black comedy DVD film Practical Magic sucks in holding WOMANKIND!) Sondra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are devilishly sexy as the spell-casting sisters doomed to be alone for the rest of his natural life ... and Stockard Channing and Diane Weist is also charming as her aunts have been raised in the chocolate cake and midnight margaritas! Aidan Quinn rounds out the excellent cast as a detective determined to find out the truth behind the disappearance of a murderer wanted. With a great soundtrack and an equally impressive musical score, practical magic will surprise and delight many filmgoer that delves into the fantasy and fun to be bewitched! |
| I loved this Practical Magic Romance film so much I bought the DVD and editing video collection! I loved the story and the relationship between the characters. I really can not think of anything about the movement that I did not like! My favorite part was when Gary told Sally that she had hoped for, it gave me the chills! I have given this DivX film Practical Magic a 10 because it is a true "feel good" type of movie, in my view it is. |
| And after going on in the book, and hope that the Practical Magic Romance movie was half good, I had to apologize many, many times my husband for him to sit through this film. I will not go into the differences between the two, like many others who have gone much better than I can, but I have to ask: Why does Hollywood insist on taking a perfectly good book and change the plot until it is almost unrecognizable ? It is very disappointing to go to a movie, based on the highly anticipated book, only to find that the only recognizable part is the title. I also found that this is the case with the Practical Magic Romance movie Moll Flanders (also co-starring Stockard Channing --- coincidence?). I think I finally learned my lesson. The next time I see a Practical Magic movie that was based on a favorite book of mine, I'm running in the opposite direction! |
| I just wanted to say. In my opinion it was a brilliant movie: Practical Magic Practical Magic. In my one-line summary suggests, I loved it. I do not really see it again and again, however. The original script was definitely for me and the performance was quite well done. It's fun to ease the tension in certain situations and in others rather ironic. Not always predictable, but some things you can see coming. Overall a GREAT night. In respect religious Practical Magic did not show too much ignorance on the subject of witchcraft. Of course, if I was totally bound by realistic witchcraft 'and then the film: Practical Magic would not have been so nice. The DivX film Practical Magic was to bruges education as my friends now that the defense of bruges, when considered as HAGS devil worship. Great movie, go see it! |
