| There is no other DVD movie Masked and Anonymous like "Masked and Anonymous" - and many people would say that's a good thing. There is no doubt that "Masked and Anonymous" is not for everyone, and there are qualities about him that will certainly be very off-putting to many if not most viewers of cinema. However, their absolute uniqueness speaks to me. (If you are familiar with Salon.com film: Masked and Anonymous critic Stephanie Zacharek, who loved her, and she hates that most movies reviews. Of course, many readers hate comments for that very reason.) While there is a plan for the film, I think it is best appreciated as a collection of each of the amazing scenes: Giovanni Ribisi back-of-the-bus monologue about his experience as a "freedom fighter", Val Kilmer's over-the -top "religious figure" (for lack of better description), Jessica Lange of subtle masturbation scene, meetings with executives from the television network (the network has been taken as a Black Panther revolutionary group -- Or are they revolutionary?), and anything with John Goodman in it. And this DVD movie Masked and Anonymous has great lines of dialogue more than anything since "Casablanca." The images of the future of America as a third world country in the midst of a revolution and ruled by a dictator-style banana republic Åre disturbing (and if you ask me, a little too close to home these days). Oh - and the music is incredible. |
| omfg this Masked and Anonymous Music is garbage. seriously I have no idea what the Masked and Anonymous Music movie was, what the point of the movie, or how they got the financing of the film. the back of the DVD of the DivX Movie Masked and Anonymous is described as "a barrage of wit," but the only entertainment value I got out of this DVD movie Masked and Anonymous was the location of numerous cameos in Steven Bauer and see it (it was in another film: Masked and Anonymous -- Pit fighter - I saw in the same session). below is a summary of the DivX Movie Masked and Anonymous to help those who might be planning to attend this show. The good: Dolby scene drop in the output. Steven Bauer. appropriations. Bad: The soundtrack is pretty music by Bob Dylan (it's okay if you like what I imagine). There were no special effects. which was 102 minutes long and there is no coherent story. the end absolutely no sense. All I can say is that I'm glad someone paid to rent this DVD. |
| Bob Dylan, whose latest album and muttered incomprehensible, was somehow allowed to create a Masked and Anonymous Music that is worse than their albums. What was John Goodman say half the time? Who wrote these lines? Latinos took over the U.S.? What happened to cause the fall of the government? Why would anyone allow Dylan in a Masked and Anonymous film after Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid? This film: Masked and Anonymous should have some kind of allegory, but could not make sense out of it. I do not usually shoot DVD's, but it came with the old dog food. Hey, it sounded like a bad line of Dylan there! |
| The fact that Ebert is so off is a good idea of what is so great about this "movie". Remember when Dylan was electric and p *** ed off everyone, especially the old folkies Tyme die hard? Folk singers were supposed to be the voice of acceptance, inclusion, democracy, but there was Pete Singer threatens to take a hatchet to the electric cables to turn off the second set Dylan. Hypocrites. Bob has done it with masks and Anonymous, a false pretense of pseudo-parable to a distant exotic land that is closer than you know. Its all done with a wink and a smile, and in fact very, very well. Jessica Lange is absolutely amazing how Hustler Industry, John Goodman is a riot and in the area as a longer time than life shmoozer small. There are a bunch of garbage that support Just Blaze stars in and out of sight. Some you have to really squint to recognize, like Mickey Rourke. Giovanni Ribisi gives a silver bullet monologue about the life of a rebel. Penelope Cruz has never been so watchable, its nice accent to the limit. Jeff Bridges is, well, Jeff Bridges. Bob Dylan and well. OK may not sound like much, but with this powerful, super star, mega mix of talent, which is the fate of not being totally crushed. Bob smart enough to say as little as possible, and is a great contrast to all the uber-acting going on all around him. Go one of those lessons cursi French philosophy of the 60s they call a movie? This DVD movie Masked and Anonymous will help get it already. |
| This Masked and Anonymous Music is one of the worst I've seen in my life. I like the music of Bob Dylan, and the cast of this Masked and Anonymous Music movie is impressive. However, the dialogue is terrible and full of clichés, the story makes no sense at all, and political questions about the revolution, religion and violence are so trivialized that would O'Reilly Factor smart political commentary on comparison. Ah, and then cultured in the Dylan DVD film Masked and Anonymous is also quite annoying. I've seen the film, along with a die-hard Dylan fan, and was really embarrassed when they left the theater. Maybe it was just an experiment trying to see how bad a Masked and Anonymous Music film can be done with great actors and great music. If so, is entirely satisfactory. |
