| This is not the typical Mel Brooks movie. Is much less slapstick than most of his films and actually had a plot that will follow. Leslie Ann Warren made the film, she is so fantastic, under-rated actress. There were some moments that could be translated a bit more, and some scenes that probably could have been cut to make room to do it, but all in all, this is the price worth renting and seeing. He was good in general, the Brooks did a good job without talking to your property directly to the audience. Once again, Warren was the best actor in the film, but "Smoke" and "Sailor" both played their parts well. |
| This is easily the most underrated DivX Movie Life Stinks of the canyon inn Brooks. Sure, its flaws. It does not give a realistic view of homeless people (unlike, for example, how Citizen Kane gave a realistic view of the lounge singers or Titanic gave a realistic view of the Italians idiots). Many of the jokes fall flat. But still, this DVD film Life Stinks is very nice in a way not many comedies, and that was to pull on a story about some of the more traditionally insulting members of the society is truly impressive. The Fisher King is not, but that is not garbage, either. My only complaint is that Brooks should have cast someone in the head (I love Mel as a director and writer, not so much as lead). |
| Mel Brook imitation of the guy dancing is one of the funniest things I've seen in a movie. "It's you, your skiddly has blessed Bing bong!" Why is not this quaint, the Life Stinks Comedy movie more universal recognition and success in its time of release? |
