| We saw the Cry_Wolf film at an early preview, and I had no idea what we were getting into. First, Cry Wolf looks to be a traditional, straight-forward Slasher film, but before you start to realize that there are layers of layers, and the result is a DVD film Cry_Wolf more suspenseful and intriguing from beginning to end. It would be very unfair to give the plot. It is only proper to say that each of us was more surprised at the end. Most of the players are unknown talents, with a pair of established actors (Jon Bon Jovi, Anna Deavere Smith) ingeniously used (Bon Jovi in a paper, a minor one in Smith). The Cry_Wolf Thriller skillfully weaves in current technologies (especially instant messaging) to increase the suspense and is sure to increase its attractiveness to young people. Great production values, photography and editing - all elements contributing to a Cry_Wolf movie that is one of the best of its kind. |
| "Cry Wolf" has managed to get away from the teen Cry_Wolf Thriller film Slasher "trench that many have fallen in the previous films. Although it had all the essentials (the athlete, the beautiful girl with attitude, the new sweet boy, forever young, and hot), this Cry_Wolf Thriller was able to turn and turn with intelligence, making himself a decent thriller. If you can imagine a good mix of "April Fools Day" and "Cruel Intentions" with a dash of "Urban ledgend 'shot, probably something very similar to this film. Do not expect to be clinging to the edge of your seat or waking with nightmares, but be prepared for a fun Cry_Wolf Thriller that can hold at least a good portion of its audience guessing until the end. However, as a die hard fan of horror, I liked it. It was as easy (and hate), the characters, development of school girls in short plaid skirts is never a bad plan for the eye candy, and the characters are really not smart enough to irritate you all the things characters in horror movies do not - but always - do (ie go into the tunnel chilling, running the stairs instead of outside the door, etc. ..). If you like intelligent movies with teen-ish characters semi-sexy, and you like horror movies (good or mediocre) - is definitely a must go out. |
| Julian Morris (Owen) and Lindy Booth (Dodger) do more to break the stereotypes name of the game and contribute more to the big screen today that some big names of the actors. Cry_Wolf is surprisingly pleasant. I expected that the implementation of the factory Slasher we have come to expect from movies teens acted scared. Cry_wolf was the opposite. Handed action, surprise, unexpected and very satisfactory and plot twists. The end is a complete surprise and I feel very well acted and well directed / written a DivX Movie Cry_Wolf for 10 of the 10! If you are ready to see an intelligent Cry_Wolf Thriller film that surprises, delights, shocks and surprises, Cry_Wolf that should be your next purchase of tickets. |
