Bad writing, bad direction, bad editing, bad acting. Has it all. Frankly, I like a good low-budget feature, but I can not tolerate a series of strung-together cliches more scenes imaginable. Wandering in a dark basement, just for the night? Do-it-jump loud, instead of really scary? The husband-emphasized that he does not believe his wife? The old disappearance "bad water" routine? And in just the first thirty minutes. And, with the fade-to-black between scenes? It's amateur and distracting. The set-dressing is horrible. It draws attention to itself in almost all locations. Frankly, I could not finish the film. A script supervisor position is obviously not the best experience of management, as well as a sound editor "most likely do not have to jump in writing screenplays. There's a reason this time was lost directly to video, but I guess that was the intention from the outset.
