| This Go Comedy movie hits every note spot. The performance is excellent, the performance of Sarah Polley stressed, showing a wide range you do not see many young actors. Jay Mohr also is fantastic, finally, his agent to find something decent instead of the unfunny tripe that is used to see the very funny Jay in. Overall, this Go Comedy movie is entertaining, provocative, dramatic, and bold. And I know that as his "Pulp Fiction-esque," but only in the structure, and that is so bad anyway? |
| "Volver" is a cool little indie film. I do not think this is one of the best 250 movies of all time, but I think many people liked it more than me. The good thing about "Volver" is that it's fun. You laugh and get a lot of action. The bad part of "Volver" is the lack of being original. This felt like a "Pulp Fiction" for teens. He is good. Everything is good. The history and location is good. Nothing big or innovative. The biggest damage is this DVD movie Go for me is the lack of any substance. At the end I do not feel sorry for anyone, because it got in trouble in his own practice. There is no meaning to the events. Unless he proves to be hit by a car and rolled on top in the ceiling and then thrown into a ditch. And wake up with a small scratch on the head and a bad limp. Overall a fun movie, but lacks any substance or emotion. 6 out of 10. |
| Go is very fresh and funny movie. The cast is excellent and the direction of Doug Liman FOM is very solid. I liked how the story was told in this Go movie and I liked Jay Mohr and Scott Wolf as the story of a little black comedy. Katie Holmes is very good and Sarah Polley excels in its role. I could not help but think Pulp Fiction while watching this movie. Liman has directed a Go Comedy movie very tight. The youth of this movie: Go has some serious problems, but ultimately, a very good movie. |
| Once in a lifetime opportunity to go to the biggest party of the year and hang out with some really cool people, a chance to ditch work, hitting the road to Las Vegas, and get caught in sex, drugs and chaos; out of a sticky situation only to be trapped in an even stickier, Doug Liman dark comedy centers on a young group of disparate characters LA, ranging from a petty cash jaded trying to score extra cash, a couple of players television who are coerced by a special police, as their ordinary lives are often deviate from the norm and bring a lot of unexpected results. Good casting, many laps, and some solid laughs to make this Go Comedy film (which is clearly in Pulp Fiction) worth of visual experience, but lacks well-developed characters, a cash payment, and loses its energy after a while . Polley gives a standout performance as a thrill-seeking addict in over his head. ** ½ |
| Go was much better than I expected. It is a good child slightly dark comedy. I will save the plot synopsis, but basically is a collection of stories from the perspective of central characters who all come together for a celebration. There is some violence, nudity and a lot of running around. My arc of the story are the two gay actors who get involved with a policeman who find strange that the day goes along. Convince me that someone Jay Mohr is not gay. I am confident that, despite being married. All actors in IR do their parts well and if you happen to decide to rent this movie, you will not be disappointed. |
| 'Go' has been described as "Pulp Fiction" with the children, but the comparison extends only so far. As the DVD movie Go tells a collection of loosely related, and other similarities include the role of drugs in the plot, with a sinister potential sex scene, and another that looks as if the feature to go to a corpse in a car, but the Go movie lacks Tarantino unique sense of style and outrageously constructed dialogue. Instead, the DivX Movie Go is quite a naturalist, and though the various segments along zipper well, there's a vague feeling of futility of the whole. The central characters, a collection of American teenagers are essentially without charm (though Katie Holmes is surely enough), and connections between the different parties are quite simple. Whereas' Pulp Fiction 'has not worked as a linear story, in this case, the division in parts of the story seems more of a trick, and the final is disappointing understated, perhaps because there is not enough in history to build more powerful climax. It's fun to see yet, but there is not much that once put aside its shape. |
