Texan Charles Farmer left the Air Force as a young man to save the family ranch when his dad died. Like most American ranchers, he owes his bank. Unlike most, he's an astrophysicist with a rocket in his barn - one he's built and wants to take into space. It's his dream. The FBI puts him under surveillance when he tries to buy rocket fuel; the FAA stalls him when he files a flight plan - it's post-9/11, after all. His wife is angry when she finds out their bank is initiating foreclosure. Charlie fears failure and decides, precipitously, to launch. Are twenty-first century American dreams just a sign of insanity? Are those who believe in dreamers only fools?

I saw last night at an advanced stage of detection. This was a very nice feel-good DVD film Astronaut Farmer, The for the whole family. I brought my daughter for 6 years and enjoyed it thoroughly. I think the content is appropriate for someone as young as her, but I could not make a younger child to this film. There were about 5-6 swear words, but she did not even collect them. Billy Bob Thornton has done a great job in this film. Bruce Willis' cameo was really nice. The DVD movie Astronaut Farmer, The was slow in some parts. The role of the grandfather was not entirely clear to me, and some parts of the comedy seems a bit forced. In general, this movie: Astronaut Farmer, The I liked a lot.

I went last night and I loved the show. I'm not a big fan of Billy Bob, but he did an excellent job. My 6 and / or daughter and 10 / children loved the show. If Bruce Willis is in the show and ironically played an astronaut. Flash back to Armageddon. The audience cheered and applauded several times during the show and at the end. Stay for the credits that are part of the show. The show does not drag at times but the story keeps your attention. I would recommend this. The story about the FAA and NASA does not want to allow this release is as farmer plausible. Can you imagine if a guy can build a viable rocket by around $ 200,000 and fly in space. The budget for these bodies ripped apart by the public. Even at the end of the FAA tried to deny the public that the flight never happened.
