| Reading the other comments I am not sure that this 50 First Dates Comedy film deserves a review it gets. The 50 First Dates Comedy film is fun, and worth much as it is, just a nice rom com with some great cartoons. It is a joyful ride instead of a DivX Movie 50 First Dates and would be judged that way and not too seriously. One could cite the fact of the head injury-related memory loss and criticize the 50 First Dates Comedy for not adequately address the horror and gravity of the situation, but does not purport to be a DivX film 50 First Dates about serious head injuries, but a comedy! As such, it is a favorite of mine the past, at least. I loved this DivX film 50 First Dates in the cinema, enjoy a DVD and has also spent time enjoying the music of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. |
| Let me begin by saying that Drew is the star of this work. Sandler is a mere detail, although they seemed very nice. What does not belong here was Rob Schneider. He should have been removed from this job in every way, shape and form. He had no place here, but we all know Sandler used his friends who have difficulty getting a job otherwise. You can not hate on someone. It is a trait to be admired. But when his friend is just as talented as Rob, get him a job as a crew member, not a member of the cast! Well, enough of that. This was only slightly funny, because the subject is too serious to really rate comedy, pure and simple. The comedy is light, because it must be viewed in order to sell the premise later. The premise is quite later in the sensitivity, and with a good amount of fear. I enjoyed it thoroughly. That rates a 8.8/10 on the Scale of RomCom ... Fiend:. |
| "50 First Dates" is the story of a zoo veterinarian (yeh right) named Henry (Sandler, who plays a lovable goofball for something different). Henry is a great player, famous for its night. That is until he meets Lucy (Drew Barrymore at her most challenging role since ET). Lucy looks like a new challenge for Henry, especially when you discover that the brain damage in a car accident that means you can not form new memories since the day before the accident. Instead of quitting, Henry decides to give this stranger a real go. It quickly won the respect and trust of his family and friends in their quest to get through his life in a normal way. There's plenty of decent laughs, about 70% of whom are based around sexual innuendo, but there are some very good jokes and scenes from there. Sandler and Barrymore are pretty decent chemistry, which really helps, and there are some characters given some very good things to work. one of the best com-ROM you'll see, if you're a guy who is. |
| Personally, I love this movie! The plot was original, fun and absolutely adorable. No problem at all with the acting as I think Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore have already proved themselves as successful actors. 50 First Dates makes you laugh and mourn and (pardon me for this) makes you feel all warm and fuzzy "inside. Just the idea that the character of Adam Sandler Drew Barrymore could make the character falls in love with him many times daily that melts my heart. It would probably be considered a "chick movie" in the eyes of many, but I can say that the husband did not leave the room when I watch! Definitely recommend it to anyone! |
| Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore delivered. The singer's wedding was good, so is this. The idea of the DivX Movie 50 First Dates was great, a well-written, intelligent comedy (Sandler has not done something too), but can not see it become a great comedic actor. If you like this, I recommend you see Spanglish and Click. Rob Scneider even has an excellent paper, and hidden as Alan 10 Second Tom is absolutely hilarious. Sean Astin as the juice was also using big brother. And Dan Akroyd played his part very well. The only thing I do not like the 50 First Dates Comedy movie was that it was Steve Buscemi in it! But ... despite that, you click on the cast, and was brilliantly written. Rent! |
| (Originally published comment August 17 2004) I am always a little apprehensive when watching movies on this trend of "Dumb-Genre Comedy." Even when I'm alone in the mood for a silly DVD movie 50 First Dates and a few laughs politically incorrect, often overshadows the dumb funny. But it kept me smiling and laughing all the way through. Sure, there are plenty of idiots here, but nothing warned me my raw hyperactive or "hey that's offensive" meter. I liked to see Sean Astin, in this (and his thoughts seemed nice bodies with muscles, despite the bad fashion - which were actually in a scene Zubaz? Made in Glen Flora, Wisconsin, Ladies and Gentlemen, big city where I started my education.) I liked the lisp, especially the "thpam and reetheth" line. The support of all the characters keep the laughs and the animals are really cute. I LOVE the little penguin (which should have included him in the boat in the final!) |
