| John Candy best Who's Harry Crumb? Comedy by far. Of course, has been in such classics as Uncle Buck, planes, trains and automobiles, and Little Shop of Horrors, but this is a Who's Harry Crumb? Comedy where I had to be completely alone as a man. Campy, fun and entertainment, this DivX Movie Who's Harry Crumb? is a great find for anyone who loves old-school comedy. As for those who like American Pie and There's Something About Mary, his best return to his rock. |
| This is one of the best films of John Candy out there, if not overwhelming with faint praise. Not great, but definitely tickle your humor, if you're in the right mood. The only glitch is the soundtrack, which does not accentuate the humor enough. If you like cute moronic comedies about characters who are too blind to see their own faults, I love this. |

| "Who's Harry Crumb?" is by far one of my favorite movies. What can I say. John's in it. Not to say all this? Juan plays Harry Crumb, a terrible private investigator, called the office to investigate a case of kidnapping. He does not accept willingly, knowing that * SPOILER * that your boss is bad. The rest of the Who's Harry Crumb? Comedy movie is about an inept John in the wrong tree with the help of the sister of the kidnappee Shawnee Smith, the loveable dimwit secretary of the popular sitcom "Becker." Their investigations are accompanied by a variety of costumes idiot. My personal favorite is POSSIBLE SPOILER * * clean your giddup India. Especially someone blows something and he ends up apologizing: "Sorry for hitting my face, Sahib his fist ... 'whahahahaha. And what about the bits you are going to a beauty salon and achieves misplace your chest hair on a female private parts. Price. The Who's Harry Crumb? film is fun, has a decent story and a great supporting characters. But the face of it ... "Who's Harry Crumb?" John Candy is Harry Crumb. See if you like Candy. See if you like a good 'Screwball' comedy. Watch it if you do not expect sophistication. In fact, only to see it. *****/ 5 stars |
| If you're a fan of the late John Candy (like me) you will most likely love this movie. Candy stars as Harry Crumb, Bumbling detective who comes from a line of great detectives. In his research, which uses a lot of costumes (much like Chevy Chase in "fletch"). Crumb is totally clueless, and Candy is a really funny script and makes it even more fun. The DVD film Who's Harry Crumb? does not take itself too seriously, and not where the viewer. I give this a 9 out of 10 because it kept me laughing all the way. |
