| My family and I really enjoy this film, we see that a lot! It has a great soundtrack and it's fun to see! Has all the right things in an image of horror, sex, violence and religion! I like the way John Carpenter makes his films, are on the edge, different and exciting! The DVD film Vampires is different from everyone else Dracula / Vampire movies. After a while why bother watching the same movies or simply updated every few years! I want to make a new John Carpenter Vampires Horror movie Vampires movies where the first left off, with James Woods and the priest after the Daniel Baldwin and Sheryl Lee. I think it would be exciting to win. A confrontation between ex-partners! |
| Firstly, what I mean is that vampires do not throw blows abstract in its presentation of the Catholic Church as an entity that has its fair share of secrets and has several options dramatically inept in recent years. The vampire hunters are mercenaries who have no real religious influence, not only in this for the money. That these people would be the champions of the church itself is a very ironic. What really surprised me most about the film, however, is its sheer brutal nature. These hunters are not good people and not act like heroes, but they are. They are real people doing their job. They are hired to kill and that is what they do. Most of the best lines in the Vampires Horror movie are James Woods, who perfectly captures the character of Jack Crow. It is exactly how I pictured it in the book. One of Carpenter's last day works best. |
| John Carpenter films always face its history in a language in cheek way, so to speak. Is somewhat preaching to the converted, playing with well known and accepted stereotypes. Not that I dislike, but in general, tend to prefer more "authentic" fare. This movie: Vampires surprised me. I found it true to its goal. The story develops at a rapid pace, the carachterisation is great, believe it or not James Woods makes a convincing action hero, and the story is as original as necessary. Play as a western, where the Indians have been replaced by vampires and the cavalry is on the payroll of the Catholic church, an institution that presents as retention terrible secrets and engaged in a war with the evil that has been going on for centuries and never ending. Woods and his men were only pawns in the game, in an awkward position as they face a terrible enemy with limited means. |
