| An action thriller mild, but probably one of Steven Seagal movies best to date. This is a parcel which currently holds its interest (although the main "twist" is telegraphed ahead of time) that go beyond the simple "who killed their loved ones and now he wants revenge" scenario, without becoming a confusing mess, like, say, "Mercenary for Justice." It also has a very polished and well-filmed action includes a pursuit culminating with a spectacular car cover, and a John Woo - style cemetery shootout at the end. Seagal tries to play a morally ambivalent character, making it somewhat, but the usual problems associated with their characters (and vanity invulnerability) are still present (wait until you hear a comment about the little girl in a certain part your body). He is still overweight, and most of the fight scenes are, you'll blink and miss, but at least you have to do it, and do so efficiently. The Pistol Whipped Action also benefits from a good supporting cast, despite Lance Henriksen should have had more screen time. | Compared with other recent films that Seagal is good, but is nowhere near as good as his early films (Under Siege, above the law, Die Hard, all have a place of honor in my DVD collection) . On the positive side, which does not even bother to hide the fact that Steven has become old and fat. However, he does not take itself too seriously, for a lower stake in their fate drunk. The DVD film Pistol Whipped itself is good. Roel Reine, the Dutch director who recently declared that his goal to make Blade Runner-like movies in the future, did the best he could. Seagal has to do more of their own struggle, and all right to speak ... (since it has stand-ins for almost every other recent films, even out of a car). The plot is decent and the camera work is entertaining. But then there is one actor who does not want to be there. Sorry Steven, every time I try to like his movies, but simply do not like to do more, and it shows. It's nice to see Steven do his own fight against the new (or at least not for the obvious use of double doubles all the time), but a return is far, far away. |
| I thought this would be on par with "Urban Justice", but it was not. However, it was still pretty good. Seagal has to take some pills and see PEP Jenny Craig, however. Everything seems exhausted and needed a man to stop walking scenes in more than twenty feet. Some of the Pistol Whipped Action movie was unintentionally laughable, such as how the thirty-something chicks really dig this old friend looking at it from falling all the time. The boy who played her daughter's father has done a great job as the villain. Acting at all good. This co-murderer named Blue Seagal challenges to a fight on two occasions and had his ass thoroughly whipped twice. It's a little funny, like throwing around a rag doll. There were some good scenes, and the persecution was very good. The dialogue was good, too, especially when Seagal was angry and cuss somebody. I recommend this movie. And went so fast. But Steve - before you make another Pistol Whipped Action movie - the reduction of weight and drink some coffee between takes! |
| I was surprised that this Pistol Whipped Action movie was very good. To be honest, after the two recent Seagal movies, I thought I was done, but do not know .... the back. I should have known not to count on him. Undoubtedly hits the Bullseye pistol whipped. The rest of the cast of the film: Pistol Whipped has done a great job too. Lance Henriksen always played a large part in everything he does. I am also glad that this Pistol Whipped Action film was shot in some cities outside of Connecticut where I live. I would like to see Seagal smaller acting roles as he did with the Executive Decision. I hope I'll be back in theaters soon. I would have paid to see this DivX Movie Pistol Whipped in a theater. |
| Before you say anything I want you to know that I like action movies, even those that contain violence (i really enjoyed the latest installment of Rambo lot). That said, do not enjoy this film: Pistol Whipped much, except maybe for some parts that make you laugh even though it is not intended to be fun. Now that I think is a classic Steven Seagal movie, I imagine as omnipotent, without at least provide some good scenes where you can entertain (that is, there is no good fighting scenes). So my advice is to see this Pistol Whipped Action movie only if you are a fan or want to kill some time with your friends. |
